About the course ?

Baking is a great skill to learn during the summer as who doesn’t like a freshly baked goodies at home.

This Baking camp is about understanding Baking with a logical & practical approach. We will be covering Four Modules of Baking in this camp which would be a very good start for the students in the world of Baking. The Four Modules  are

I)  Donuts & Berliners

II) Dessert Tarts & Savoury Pies

III) Petite travel cake & Jar cake with icing

IV) Pizza Making

 

What will they be learning in the course?

We will covering the Two modules as briefed above.

The dishes covered in this course are-

DAY 1- MODULE (I) DONUTS & BERLINERS

A) Classic Glazed Donuts

B) Cinnamon Sugar Donuts

C) Berry jam  Filled Berliners

D) Chocolate Custard Filled Berliners   

 

DAY 2- MODULE (II) TARTS & PIES

We will be teaching how to make pies and tarts from scratch.

A) Blueberry Cheesecake Tart

B) Pesto Zucchini & Feta Galette   

C) Savoury Cottage cheese & Bell pepper Hand pies

D) Spinach Ricotta and Sun Dried Tomato Quiche

 

DAY 3- MODULE (III)-  PETITE TRAVEL CAKES & JAR CAKES WITH ICING

A) Blueberry and white chocolate travel cake with lemon frosting

B) Chocolate travel cake with Dark chocolate ganache

C) Mango jar cake with Coconut whipped ganache frosting

D) Red velvet jar cake with cream cheese icing

 

DAY 4- MODULE (IV)-  PIZZA MAKING

We will covering the following-

We will be covering Two Bases

a) Maida Base

b) Whole Wheat Base

The Two types of Crust which we will covered are

1) Thin Crust

2) Classic Crust

SAUCES

a) Roasted Italian sauce

b) Pesto sauce

c)White sauce

TOPPINGS

Roasted Potatoes, Grilled veggies (Zucchini,Squash, mushrooms etc), Basil oil, garlic oil and Oven dried tomatoes.

We will be covering the combination of Cheese (Cheddar, feta & Gouda), Nuts and fruit (Figs, Pear etc) which will go as pizza toppings

It's a totally hands-on experience where you'll learn how to use basic techniques and ingredients to make baking more fun and creative.

All the tricks you'll pick up – measuring, kneading, piping and following recipes – can be applied to your daily life.

We'll make sure you understand the concept and get comfy with making your own goodies from the comfort of your kitchen and yes the little one will be taking their baked goodies home to eat with you all 😄
